  • S/N ratio: 90 dB
  • Input impedance: 1M Ohm (Output impedance: 100 Ohm)

It has two identical but independent sets of speed and depth controls. Each "chorus" has an LED indicator that lights up when in use and also flashes an indication of the speed setting. The Chorus xII has a stereo output via two quarter inch jacks. The "on" switch allows you to engage or bypass the chorus. The "select" switch allows you to switch between the two chorus settings mid song or mid set without having to get down on your knees alter the controls. The Carl Martin Chorus xII is the perfect choice for guitar, bass or keyboards. It is unbelievably rich in sound, totally quiet, and most important of all, does not change the basic sound. The Carl Martin Chorus xII has a built in, regulated (+-12V) power supply which enables us to design circuitry of the highest quality with maximum headroom.

Carl Martin Rock Bug Pedal

Carl Martin Rock Bug Pedal Review

Carl Martin Rock Bug Pedal Feature

  • Unbalanced input for guitar, or guitar through pedalboard Unbalanced guitar output or headphone out (600 Ohm) Balanced output (200 Ohm) for direct recording or PA use (Not digital audio) Aux stereo inputs for MP3, CD or DAT Master output controls the overall and AUX levels The Guitar volume knob controls the instrument volume in relation to the Master volume The Speaker Simulation switch for choosing between open and closed back speaker cabinet simulations
The Carl Martin Rock Bug is an Amp/Speaker Simulator and Headphone rehearsal unit that operates on a single 9v battery. Although this type of accessory is not new, we believe there is nothing on the market that feels as real or sounds as realistic as the Rock Bug! You simply get the feeling that you are playing through a good tube amp. Just plug your guitar (with or without pedals) into the unbalanced ¼” input, plug your favourite headphones into the unbalanced ¼” output and off you go! Adjust your instruments’ volume with the Guitar knob, select an open cabinet or closed cabinet simulation with the mini-toggle switch, and wail away through the privacy of your headphones. If you like, use the AUX stereo inputs and add an MP3, CD or DAT player to the mix; adjust the Master volume for your music, blend in your guitar sounds with the Guitar volume, and either play along with your favourite cd’s or add a personal touch to your pre-recorded backing tracks. Utilizing the balanced XLR output, you can connect your Rock Bug to a mixing console for recording, solo gigs accompanying the pre-recorded music with your live guitar, or as a DI for live performance when you are packing light, or your amp goes down. You might not think an Amp-Speaker Simulator is new, but with all these features, the Rock Bug is the little Danish-Swiss Army Knife that belongs in the pocket of every guitar-players gig-bag!

Carl Martin Classic Flange

Carl Martin Classic Flange Review

Carl Martin's Vintage Flanger has 4 knobs to control Speed, Depth, Pre-delay and Feedback, plus a dual speed mode that is foot-switchable. There are no rules with a Flanger, just plug this versatile modulation pedal in and play, play, play. The Carl Martin Classic flange pedal's Bypass switch turns the effect on and off. The Classic Flange is not "true bypass," it has high-quality buffer circuitry. The Green LED lights up when the flange pedal is activated. The Carl Martin Classic Flanger offers two settings of speed, fast/slow select on the footswitch. The fast/slow settings share the same speed knob, therefore when changing the speed setting in fast mode, it will also change the speed in slow mode. The effect pedal's Speed knob controls the speed of the Flanger's sweep. In fast mode it can go very fast, sounding reminiscent of a Leslie rotating horn. At slowest, the speed provides a sweep that stretches very wide, good for alternate rhythm figures. The Depth goes from subtle to extreme, and works in tandem with the feedback control. The pre-delay sets the short delay time in which the Flanger operates, set to the extreme left it is the shortest time available, and to the extreme right it is the longest time available. The Carl Martin pedal's Pre-Delay controls what frequencies the Flanger accentuates, as it is a moving filter that sweeps up and down following the Speed control. In other words, it sets the flavor of the Carl Martin Flanger pedal's tone, from very swirly to rising and sinking curve, and everything in between. The Red LED flashes the speed setting in real time, so there is a visual indication on the speed chosen that flashes in bypass mode. The depth controls the amount of effect. It works closely together with the feedback. The pedal's Feedback controls the amount of signal that sends back through the sweepfilter, at low settings it gives a chorus-like sound. Increasing it adds a more hollow, ghostly sound, feeding some frequencies,...

Carl Martin Contour and Boost Effects Pedal

Carl Martin Contour and Boost Effects Pedal Review

Carl Martin Contour and Boost Effects Pedal Feature

  • Power: 100 or 115 or 230 VAC 50-60Hz
  • Power consumption: 2.4 Watts
  • S/N ratio: 80 dB
  • Input impedance: 1M Ohm (Output impedance: 100 Ohm)
  • THD distortion: 0.01% at 0 dB
Carl Martin Contour & Boost is especially designed to boost up, and change the sound (contour) of electric guitar/bass. The Contour & Boost circuitry is of phase linear design, using high quality components. This ensures sonic clarity and midrange emphasis which is so important for electric guitar. The Contour & Boost is designed as a High Pass (low cut) and Low Pass (high cut) filter, with a fixed X-over frequency at 440Hz. The High Pass filter operates from 65Hz to 440Hz, and the Low Pass filter from 440Hz to 8kHz. Both filters are individually sweepable, with a boost range of up to 12dB. With these two filters it is possible to change the sound (contour) in any way your creativity allows you. The Carl Martin Contour & Boost has a built in, regulated (+-12V) power supply which enables us to design circuitry of the highest quality with maximum headroom. Please note that when using this unit with other effect devices, always place the Contour & Boost after any distortion units, otherwise the distortion unit will limit what you can achieve with the Contour & Boost.
